The Bahraini company “Alpha Biotech” announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to transfer technology, knowledge, and contract manufacturing with the Jordanian company “Itqan Pharma” to manufacture general preparations, oncology preparations, medical solutions, and other pharmaceutical products with a production capacity of 350 million pills annually and a total investment value of $174 million for the first two phases and the second of the project”

Bahrain-based Alpha Biotic signed two MoUs for knowledge and technology transfer as well as contract manufacturing with Jordan’s Dar Al Dawa and Egypt’s EIPICO, to produce general products, oncology products, medical solutions, and other pharmaceutical products. At an investment value of $174 million over two phases, the project’s production capacity is expected to reach 350 million pills per year.
“Jordan’s Itqan Pharma Company and Bahrain’s Alpha Biotech Company also sealed a memorandum of understanding for the transfer of technology and co-manufacturing.
The first and second phases of the project will cost a combined $174 million, producing generic medicines, oncological pharmaceuticals, medical solutions and other pharmaceutical products with an annual production capacity of 350 million tablets”
